Classic Gas BBQ & Gas Bottle

Classic Gas BBQ & Gas Bottle

It will be 10 years this October that we got married, in the same time we purchased our new 32ft wooden launch, Cap Norte. I have had many wooden boats; yes I have a wood problem, just love it. I was asked by my family what would you both like for a wedding present, something we can get a lot of use out of. It was a Cookout Classic Marine BBQ with a stainless steel gas bottle of course!

Well a lot of use in an understatement in the highest. Every year we go away up the Hawkesbury River, raft up with numerous boats, many people, lots of kids and big cooking demands.

I always cook for everybody on our BBQ and eat on the back of our beautiful wooden boat. I cannot tell you how many people we have cooked for over 10 years. The amount of whole fresh fish, prawns, steak, roasts etc on the BBQ. It's a big number!

These BBQ's are simply the best available on the market, they might be a little more expensive but they are the best no question and no I don’t have shares in the company, wish I owned it though!

Reasons; it has never let us down, no flame/flare ups, solid stainless plate makes it a lot safer as well, no rattles at all and easy to clean, it still looks brand new, in 10 years I have only just replaced the electronic ignition and the gas cock, which is a minimal cost after 10 years of cooking.

The boat has just undergone a complete refit including engine electrics etc. but the one thing that did not need replacing was the BBQ of course!
